Our Story

WellPlumbed was founded in 2008 when James decided to build a plumbing and heating service that put customers first. The goal was never to build the biggest company. Instead, it was about creating something more personal – a service where customers knew exactly who they were dealing with and could trust that the job would be done properly.

Over the years, that approach has worked. Word-of-mouth recommendations from satisfied customers have kept the business growing steadily, and many of the people we work with today have been customers for years, coming back whenever they need heating upgrades, boiler servicing, or plumbing work. 

The business has evolved alongside changes in the industry. When heat pumps started becoming a viable option for UK homes, we invested in proper training and became Heat Geek Verified installers. As boiler technology has improved, we’ve maintained our manufacturer approvals with brands like Vaillant and Baxi to ensure we’re always up to date with the latest systems. But the core values have stayed the same: honesty, quality, and personal service.
